About Me

I am full stack web developer with a passion for building products that bring greater art and culture awareness to the world. For me, programming is both an endless problem solving exercise and a creative outlet. You can see the technologies I have experience using, a few of my projects, and my contact info below.

Here are my skills:

Portfolio:

  • Biddr

Biddr is an online art market research platform for artworks and artists on the secondary market. The data on this website was collected from publicly available auction data from sales dating between 2007 and 2017. This product was built with the intention of bringing disparate art market information into one product for galleries, collectors, and sellers. This app was built using React/Redux, Ruby on Rails, as well as VictoryChart (for data visualization).

  • Fashion Logger

Fashion Logger is my take on Pinterest... for fashion. The idea for this product was that lovers of fashion could store all of their favorite images by topic, whether it be color, mood, runway, or designer! This app was built with a Rails backend and React on the frontend. Design elements were done using custom CSS as well as Semantic UI.

  • Searche

Searche is an app built with the student in mind. While completing projects at Flatiron School, I noticed I was constantly switching between searching on Google, Wikipedia, and StackOverflow. I found this process to be extremely inefficient, so I built an app that connects users to those three sites at the same time, through APIs. Thus, users can use Searche to make queries to Google, Wikipedia, and StackOverflow at the same time, and save links and topics to their user account. This app was built with a Rails background and JavaScript and Bootstrap on the frontend.
